The softball diamond at the Billiken Sports Center has been the home of the SLU softball program since 2000.
Located directly south of the Olive/Compton parking garage on the SLU campus, the softball field is the newest addition to the Billiken Sports Center complex, which also includes Hermann Stadium (soccer) and the baseball field.
The field is equipped with bleachers and has a capacity of 500 fans. Dimensions for the 200 feet down the lines, 215 feet in the alleys and 225 feet to center.
The softball field at the BSC is the finest facility the Billikens have ever called home. Prior to the 2000 season, the Billikens played home games in numerous parks in the St. Louis area, including St. Louis' Forest Park, ABC Fields and the Affton Athletic Association.
Near the softball diamond is a nature area with two ponds stocked with fish and other wildlife indigenous to Missouri and the St. Louis area.
The Billiken Sports Center is located just minutes from downtown St. Louis. The St. Louis Gateway Arch is visible from the softball bleachers. Parking for softball games is available adjacent to the field in the Olive/Compton parking garage and on nearby streets.
